Thursday, November 5, 2020

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year.

When you receive your log-in, you will see the "Orientation” mini-course located in the middle of your Dashboard page. This online orientation mini-course provides information about succeeding as an online student as well as student expectations for EeLA. All students must fully complete the orientation mini-course before they can be enrolled in their regular class(es). It takes about three hours to complete.

Once you have fully completed the online orientation course, you can expect to see your regular classes show up within a couple of school days.

Be sure to log in using the Edgenuity SIS website at http://sislogin.edgenuity.com

Check your email, your user name and password was emailed to you.

Your teachers will send out welcome emails through Edgenuity messages with their contact and course information once you have completed your Orientation mini-course and you have been enrolled into your regular classes. Do not lose those. You will need to contact them or meet with them in a Zoom when you have questions. You will probably want to plan to meet with your teacher a few times a week even if it is just for a check-in.

Important Information:

Student Expectations Form: Click here to view the 2020/21 EeLA Student Expectations Form. It is very important that students and parents/guardians fully read this document to understand requirements for EeLA students, including coursework time expectations, Alternative Learning Experiences rules and laws, and information about contacting teachers.

Videos about Being an EeLA Student: Click here to view the collection of videos our staff has made that explain student expectations, how to access classes, and more. Students will watch these videos as part of their online orientation mini-course, but parents are encouraged to view them as well to support their learners.

Teacher Provided Student Support: EeLA teachers will be available for drop-in support during the following days and times. Click the corresponding zoom link if you need help logging in, have questions about the orientation mini-course, or general EeLA student questions. Keep an eye out on our website for our more permanent support schedule. Students will have access to regularly scheduled zoom meetings through Edgenuity.

CHROMEBOOK Technology Help Desk: The Student Tech Support team can be reached at techsupport@edmonds15.org or 425-431-1211.

We look forward to working with you,
